Job Description
Video Editing:
- Edit short-form and long-form videos for Instagram, YouTube, Reels, Shorts, and ads
- Understand the subject, concept, and objective before editing
- Apply transitions, effects, motion graphics, and smooth pacing
- Work with sound effects, background music, and audio syncing
- Color correction and color grading for professional output
- Optimize videos for different platforms and aspect ratios
- Stay updated with trends, reels formats, and viral editing styles
Graphic Design (Static & Carousel Posts):
- Design static posts, carousel posts, thumbnails, and creative
- Strong understanding of layout, composition, spacing, and hierarchy
- Proper text placement, font pairing, and readability
- Use of design principles like contrast, alignment, balance, and color psychology
- Maintain visual consistency with brand identityAudio & Resource Tools:
- Knowledge of sound effects usage, timing, and mood-setting
- Understanding of copyright-free audio, music, and sound libraries
- Ability to find and use free and paid resources for:
o Sound effects
o Background music
o Elements & overlays
o Stock visuals
Creative & Conceptual Skills:
- Strong sense of storytelling and visual communication
- Ability to understand a subject and convert it into engaging content
- Awareness of current trends, memes, transitions, and editing styles
- Strong aesthetic sense and attention to detail
Communication & Work Skills:
- Good command of English (spoken & written)
- Ability to understand briefs clearly and execute accordingly
- Good coordination with content, marketing, and design teams
- Open to feedback and quick improvement
